Seventy scripts, ranging in length from 1.5 to 15 minutes reading time, on different aspects/angles of the meaning of Canada. Informative and inspirational material on a variety of topics. Most run from 3-5 minutes and can be used for readers’ theatre, an opening/closing thought for the day, for special days and occasions—even to memorize for history exams!
Twenty-two are recorded, some to a background of classical music. Included here is the “Canadian Connection” script presented live to the Citizens Forum on National Unity in 1991. The rest can be downloaded in text. Although thoughts here have been used by the author in newspapers and on radio, the scripts in this form are not published in any other venue.
